Cards and More Shop - Party Time Birthday Tag

Hello, my friends!

I'm back with a new project made with products from the Cards and More Shop .

I decided it was time to use this sweet stamp set again!
I haven't for a while, and it's one of my favorites since it's called "Cake Nancy"! lol

Instead of a card, I decided to make a birthday tag.
I thought this fun Dutch Doobadoo template would make a fun tag shape.
Here is my birthday tag:

I stamped the image on white, colored it with my markers,
and fussy cut it out.

I cut out two of the shield shapes,
one in white and one in patterned paper, and then distressed the edges.
I adhered them together.
I added an eyelet in the top of the patterned paper one.
I threaded some ribbons through the eyelet, and tied them with a bow.

I adhered the image in place using foam tape for extra dimension.
Then I added the "It's time to party" sentiment.
I added stickles to the stars and sprinkles,
and some glossy accents to the candles.
Finally, I added some sequins.

One last look at the tag:

These were the products used from the Cards and More Shop :

FabScraps - Happiness Card

Happy Friday, my friends!
Here's another fun card for FabScraps
It's made with the gorgeous Wind Beautify Collection.

Here is the full tutorial for you:

WILD BEAUTY COLLECTION
Happiness Card
Nancy Nickel

For this project you will need:
·       FabScraps Wild Beauty Collection Paper Range C101 004
·       FabScraps Wild Beauty Card Kit MC101 001A – One “Happiness” Tag
·       FabScraps Wild Beauty Stickers ST101 001
·       White Card Base (6 X 6)
·       Ink of Choice (Distress Ink – Iced Spruce)
·       Decorative Border Punch (EK Success – Floral Border)
·       One Large White Brad
·       Bling
Instructions:
1.    Turn white card base so that fold is at top. Apply green floral sticker just below fold, centering on card.
2.    Cut a piece of C101 004 at 5 5/8” wide X 4 3/4” high. I chose my stripes to go vertically.
3.    Using a decorative border punch, punch along top and bottom edge.      I used an EK Success flower punch that matched the papers nicely. You may need to cut your paper taller to accommodate a deeper punch.
4.    Ink edges of paper, and adhere in place on card, under sticker.
5.    Add large white brad through hole on “Happiness” tag. Ink edges of tag. Add foam tape to the back of the tag. Adhere in place on the card front, positioning it at an angle, as shown in photo.
6.    Finally, add some pretty bling to the punched border. I added large green rhinestones to my border. Enjoy!

 Thanks for stopping by!
Have a wonderful day! :o)

Fall Fun with Whisker Graphics

Hello, my friends!

I'm very happy to be sharing my first post as part of the
Whisker Graphics Design Team!

I'll be back with a new project each month created with
the fabulous products from the Whisker Graphics Shop!
I'm also over on the Whisker Graphics Blog today.
You're going to want to go over there and subscribe in the sidebar.
That way you won't miss all the fun shares from the rest of the DT,
and all the fun ways you can use these great products!

* * * * *

Today I thought it would be appropriate to share a fun Fall project.
I began with a box that I cut out using my Cricut.
Then I gathered my Whisker Graphics items and began.
I have two twines shown in the photo because I wasn't sure which one I would use.

I ran the Plain Brown Little Bitty Bag through an embossing folder from Cuttlebug.
It embossed this sweet owl on the bag.

Next, I inked the raised embossing to make it stand out a bit more.

I stamped "Thanks So Much" onto the Metal Rimmed Circle Tag, using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Then I placed the stamped Metal Rimmed Circle Tag on top of the Large Red Tag, matching the holes.
Deciding that the Red Bamboo Divine Twine was the best match,
I cut two small pieces and threaded them through the tag holes.
I took another piece of the twine and tied a bow around these pieces.

Now it's time to assemble it all.
I put strips of score tape on the back of the bitty bag to make sure it had secure hold.

Then I positioned it in place on the front center of the box.
The tag is tucked inside the bag, with the rimmed tag hanging outside the bag.
The large red tag is the perfect place to write a sweet message.

Here's a closer look at it all put together.

Finally, I wrapped more Red Bamboo Divine Twine around the box a few times,
and tied another bow over the bitty bag on the front.

There you have it...my first Whisker Graphics project!
I think it would be a great gift for so many occasions at this time of year.
How about a hostess gift for a dinner invitation?
Or fun packaging for some cookies for the neighbors?
Or even a box of candy for the special kids that come knocking very soon?
So many ways to use these fun items!

Thanks for stopping by!
I'll be back again soon with another project share!
