Hello, my friends!
Hello, my friends!
There's a really fun new challenge starting over at Lia Stampz...it's "Anything But A Card" :o)
I decided I wanted to try something a little bit different. I started with picking out this fun image called "Christmas Cookies", which you can find at Whimsy Stamps HERE.
The project I made was inspired by this fun image. She's holding a plate of cookies, and what goes better with cookies then a glass of milk? So I put together this fun milk carton! Wouldn't this make a lovely gift if it was full of cookies? I looked at a few milk carton projects online but none of them were the right size for my image. I decided to make up my own. If any of you would be interested in a template for one this size just let me know. I will make one up and post it on my new "Free Stuff" page.
Here is my milk carton:
Here is a close-up of the fun image. I cut it out and backed it with a pretty red doily.
Then I added a triple bow.
Here is the back side of the project. I stamped "YUM" all over the carton using blue and red ink.
I added a band of red polka dot Washi tape around the bottom of the carton.
I added a band of red polka dot Washi tape around the bottom of the carton.
Here is a closer look at the top of the carton.
There is another band of narrow Washi tape above the first fold. The carton is held shut with a red binder clip. I stamped a tag that says "a little Yummy for your tummy" and tied it onto the clip with a ribbon bow.
